If dinner used to be served, now it’s serving.
Fashion and art brands have made the dinner table center stage as it has officially become part of the show. Food is no longer just plated, it’s performed. Think edible installations, scent-driven storytelling and tablescapes that feel more like IRL gallery shows than dinner parties. The group chat is obsessed, and for good reason: this new wave of dining turns every seat into front row.
Here are six moments we loved where the dinner drama was by design:
Farm Is Table

“Farm to table” takes on new meaning with the earthwork / dining table created from farm soil for Farm is Table, part of A New Futurist Cookbook by Allan Wexler @allanwexlerstudio and Michael Yarinsky @tangible.space. The long table is formed out of soil, with seating dug into the earth. Flowers for the meal were planted in the table itself and weeds, grasses and wildflowers were the centerpiece.
Four Seasons’ One of One
In Paris, Four Seasons and Whitewall Art debuted One of One, a new global series of singular experiences transforming destinations into ephemeral stages for creativity. The brands met at the crossroads of art, design, and haute cuisine by transforming Le George into a mirror-world dreamscape during Art Basel, complete with choreography, scent and reflections inspired by Charlotte Colbert’s Dreamland Sirens. Service became art, and dinner felt like stepping into a portal.
Maison Margiela Residences Launch
@tablesome_ crafted a silver-laden scene of trays, candelabras and theatrical serving moments, a full fashion-meets-feast crossover for the launch of Maison Margiela Residences in Dubai. A luxury residential project by fashion house Maison Margiela developed in partnership with Alta Real Estate Development, the project is located in one of Dubai’s most sought-after neighborhoods and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2028.
Moncler’s Snow-Table Spectacle
Moncler said “dinner… but make it the Alps.” Moncler and Luxottica celebrated their latest eyewear collaboration with an elegant dinner in the snowy ski resort of Crans Montana, Switzerland. A massive open-air table carved straight into the snow, lined with sheepskin seats and crystal-clear ice blocks holding frozen florals, turned a Swiss mountainscape into the chicest dining room on Earth. It’s experiential dining in its peak form.
Pasta, But Make It Sculpture
Forget florals, this dinner went full carb couture. For a birthday bash at Vino e Cucina, the table became an ode to pasta in all its forms—towering candelabras built from rotini, farfalle fanned like bouquets and glossy tomatoes cascading over tiered stands. Pasta doesn’t just belong on the plate, it belongs in the spotlight. A feast for the eyes before the fork even hits the table.
WE ARE ONA’s Smoke Dome
WE ARE ONA, the a culinary experiential studio led by creative director Luca Pronzato, a former sommelier and restaurateur with stints at NOMA, popped-up on Jubail Island in collaboration with Manar Abu Dhabi. In a long-awaited regional debut, WE ARE ONA partnered with guest chef Solemann Haddad, Chef and owner of Dubai’s Michelin-starred Moonrise, for a desert dining experience that drew on the primal elements of cooking outdoors—fire, smoke and starlight.
Moose Knuckles’ Butter Mountain
“From mountain to the city,” a literal butter mountain crafted for @mooseknucklescanada by @alfio_alfredochirizzi proves dairy can be high drama when handled by @spacedeliciousent.
