Nantucket just got a groovy little makeover.

The Beachside Hotel is channeling peak ‘60s summer with its retro-chic renovation, and we’re here for the comeback. Envision terracotta tones, striped pool loungers and enough nostalgia to make you crave a Bomb Pop.

What to Know:

Just outside of town and a hop from Jetties Beach, this throwback stay nails the whole location-is-everything concept. You’re close enough to walk to the ferry in 10 minutes (or bike it in three, thanks to the hotel’s free cruiser bikes), but tucked far enough from the chaos to actually relax.

Unlike Nantucket’s usual navy-and-white nautical palette, Beachside dares to be different, color-blocking with terracottas, creams, dark greens and wood furnishings.
